How did it feel when you were crowned Miss
Lake County? "I was shocked,
amazed and overwhelmed. I'm still letting it all sink in and now I'm just
excited for whatever comes next. Most of all, I felt honored and thankful to
everyone who has helped me get to this point in my life." What do you plan on accomplishing in regard to
your platform as Miss Lake County? "As far as my
platform is concerned, I want to get in touch with different clubs, such as
the Boys & Girls Club and Big Brothers and Big Sisters and talk to them
about expanding in the Lake County area. I want to speak at schools and
one-on-one with kids about the importance of having self-confidence and
getting involved in different community service activities." What are you looking forward to as Miss Lake
County? "Mostly, I am
looking forward to getting to know my community better and put myself out
there to serve and share my voice with others. I'm hoping to further develop
my platform and I'm very excited about competing for Miss California" Lauren

Lake County's Outstanding Teen? "I felt very
overwhelmed with joy! It was such an amazing moment!" What do you plan to accomplish in regard to
your platform as Miss Lake County's Outstanding Teen? "I hope that I
can improve the lives of the animals in Lake County and also of the people
that reside here." What are you looking forward to as Miss Lake
County's Outstanding Teen? "I am really
looking forward to getting the public aware of the growing problem of animal
overpopulation that we have. I am also looking forward to the growing
